Many of the people we help, and the families helping them, use larger text, screen readers or a phone. This site should work for all of them.
Our goal
We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA. That means readable contrast, text that can be enlarged, every control reachable by keyboard, clear labels on every form field, and charts that also come as tables.
What we've done
- Forms with labels, plain error messages and no time limits for families
- Visible focus outlines and a "skip to content" link
- Light and dark themes that follow your device setting
- Motion turned off when your device asks for reduced motion
- The permission text on the request form set in larger print
Prefer the phone?
You never have to use the website. Call (916) 555-0100 and an advisor will fill in the request with you.
